A new agency, built around one route to money.

Afrika Collections is the trading name of K2024365898 (South Africa) Pty Ltd, registered with the Council for Debt Collectors and with the National Credit Regulator, and working from Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape.

Why we exist

Most books stop at judgment. That is the wrong place to stop.

A creditor hands over a book, receives a judgment some months later, and never sees a cent. The judgment is real; the money is not. What turns one into the other is an emoluments attachment order that a payroll department has actually accepted and loaded — and that last step is administrative, unglamorous, and where most files are abandoned.

Afrika Collections is built around finishing that step. We take the book, work it properly before anything legal happens, and where an account has to be litigated we run it ourselves to the point where a deduction is running off the debtor's salary. The mandate is not closed before that payment arrives.

We are new. We are not going to dress that up with a founding date we do not have or a recovery figure we have not earned. What we can put in front of you is the process above, the registrations below, and a fee structure in which a failed recovery costs you nothing.

How we work

Four things we hold to.

We tell you what has already prescribed

Most contractual debt prescribes after three years unless it has been acknowledged or paid. Accounts that have gone are identified at segmentation and reported to you, not quietly worked so that the file looks busy.

We turn down books we cannot finish

Our enforcement route ends at an employer. Where a book is grant- or pension-only, there is no attachment order at the end of it, and we would rather decline the mandate than take a fee for activity.

Nothing legal happens without your instruction

Summons is a decision with cost attached. It is taken by you, in writing, on a file we have shown you — never as a default step because contact failed.

Debtors are dealt with within the Act

No threats of arrest, no contact with an employer about the debt outside a court process, no calls outside permitted hours. Complaints go to a named person and are answered.

Send us the book. We'll tell you what's actually in it.

A written assessment, at no charge: what is recoverable by ageing band, what has already prescribed, which accounts have an employer we can reach, and the commission we would quote.
